Sneha Ojha, MBBS, MPhil, PhD Fellow
Sneha Ojha is a PhD Fellow at the Oslo University Hospital, working in collaboration with the University of Oslo (UiO) and Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies (NKVTS). Her research focuses on mental health and healthcare service utilization among Syrian refugees in Norway. She aims to identify disparities in mental health outcomes and healthcare access for refugee populations compared to the general Norwegian population, with the goal of informing policy and improving services for vulnerable groups. She has made significant academic contributions, including a peer-reviewed publication on psychological distress during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as a systematic review on mental health problems among Syrian refugees in Nordic Countries, which is currently under peer review. With diverse clinical experience and proficiency in areas such as research methodology and epidemiology, she is committed to enhancing global health outcomes through evidence-based interventions.
