Dineke Zeegers Paget is a lawyer, with a PhD in comparative health law from the Faculty of Law, University of Groningen, the Netherlands. She is the executive of director of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) and director of the European public health conference Foundation. Before joining EUPHA, she worked as a junior officer at the WHO headquarters working on HIV/AIDS legislation, as a researcher on human rights, law and HIV/AIDS at the Department of Social Medicine of the University of Groningen, and as a senior project manager on HIV prevention and health promotion at the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health in Bern, Switzerland.
